Updates from Connect to Care Consulting
Dear Reader,
We achieved two more important milestones in May:
Connect To Care Global (CTCG) was officially launched in Singapore to catalyse South-South cooperation
Led a high-level delegation from Sri Lanka’s Ministry of Digital Economy on a two-day learning exchange visit to Singapore
CTCG is a significant expansion of our scope. Backed by a regional network of experienced consultants based across South and Southeast Asia, it brings together deep local knowledge with cross-sector expertise in technology, strategic communications, and non-profit operations to offer a unique ability to bridge global strategic thinking with local execution. We’re excited about what the future holds for CTCG.
The strategic learning exchange visit aimed to draw actionable insights from Singapore’s world-class digital and innovation ecosystem and to deepen South–South partnerships that can accelerate Sri Lanka’s Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) journey and broader economic transformation.

Sincerely,

Connect to Care Global (CTCG) Launches in Singapore
We have launched CTCG to help international agencies and regional partners across the Global South navigate a rapidly changing aid landscape. As the Global North reduces its traditional aid commitments, a post-aid world is emerging that demands smarter, faster, and more locally grounded solutions.
Our approach is built upon three core pillars:
Think and acting politically – by aligning with local power structures and governance dynamics
Adopting digital solutions – leveraging tech to scale impact across health, education, agriculture, governance, and finance
Building South–South cooperation – promoting peer learning, context-aware solutions, and regional capacity-building
The organisation's fundamental approach relies on unlocking the power of local and regional talent. Designing projects that include local private sector stakeholders and align with government priorities while taking into account the priorities and needs of development sector partners.
We invite development agencies, multilateral institutions, private sector organizations and foundations to collaborate on politically smart, digitally enabled, and regionally grounded programs.

South-South Cooperation Learning Exchange Visit to Singapore

We were honoured to lead a high-level delegation from Sri Lanka’s Ministry of Digital Economy on a two-day learning exchange visit to Singapore - facilitated by Connect to Care Global and Global Health Strategies, with support from the Gates Foundation.
Over two days, the delegation engaged with 9 leading institutions at the heart of Singapore’s digital transformation - IMDA, GovTech Singapore, Temasek Foundation, Global Finance & Technology Network, and Open Government Products - along with several global technology companies.
Key takeaways included:
Scalabe Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) systems and Smart Nation frameworks
AI governance, cloud and data policy innovation
Startup-government co-creation and agile procurement models
Public–private partnerships for fintech, digital inclusion, and climate resilience
We look forward to continuing these important discussions over the coming months — to co-develop practical pathways and partnerships that advance inclusive digital development across the Global South.
